Easy DIY Halloween Crafts for Haunting Style

Wondering how we made our Halloween party come to life? Here’s the behind-the-scenes intel for some of the DIY projects that went into the planning. Each project is hauntingly fun and easy to follow along with. So, get ready to get crafty – and spice up your next Halloween party with a little spooky magic!


Creepy Cocktails

(Dry ice cocktails)

What You'll Need: - Red wine - Soda of choice - Dry ice

Step 1: Pour the red wine in a serving glass.

Step 2: Add in the soda, and mix until blended.



Step 3: 
Drop in the ice right before you're ready to serve.

Balloon Backdrop

What You’ll Need:

Instructions: 

  1. Blow up all the balloons, and place the balloon ends in the pre-cut holes on the decorating strip.
  2. Fill in any spaces in the garland by attaching smaller balloons to larger balloons with the glue dots.
  3. Stick 2-3 command hooks to a wall, and run the fishing wire around the decorating strip. Tie the strip to the command hook.

Spooky Snacks

(Bat bites)

Ingredients:

- Unwrapped Mini Reese's Cups - Oreo Thins - Frosting - Edible eyes

Instructions:

  1. Scrape frosting from the Oreos (or eat!).
  2. Break each Oreo in half.
  3. Pipe frosting (w/a plastic bag) on the corners of the cookie pieces
  4. Place two cookie pieces on the top corners of the Reese's Cup.
  5. Pipe frosting on the back of the edible eyes and secure them to the Reese's Cup.
