We have a mattress on a waterbed base, and don't need the legs. Can we still use an adjustable base?
In regards to using the Revive 1.0 California King Adjustable Base. The only thing that should be on top of the adjustable base is the mattress. This base should not be operated without the legs.

The hydraulic does make some noise when in use. Otherwise the product works great.

Good affordable bed. Definitely try it!
This is a good starting model in the series. It is only half way adjustable on the Head side but on the base side. However, I have to commend that the base is really strong ams sturdy and works amazingly well with the rising head with my tuft and needle original mattress. If your looking for an economical adjustable bed (given all other models are far more expensive), this is a decent model to start from.

What we were looking for
The base adjusts in middle of unit, which causes you to slip down in the bed. You just have to figure out how much to elevate the head to be comfortable. Easy to operate. The 2 bars at end of base to hold mattress in place make it a challenge to make bed.
