Will a twin pillow top mattress fit on top of this bed or does it need to just be a "standard" twin? What is the ideal depth of mattress?
The side railing of the Sedona Junior Loft Bed will measure 16" from the slats to the top of the railing. We recommend having at least 5" of clearance from the mattress to the top of the railing

Ladder?
Why doesn't this bed have an option to purchase a ladder? I see the full height loft beds come with ladders, but not the junior. Am I missing something, or are they just not available? And if not... why not?

Great for a small space
We have 2 girls in one room, one of which is a toddler. This bed is the perfect height for their bedroom that has a lower ceiling and the toddler bed fits right underneath. Sturdy construction and no damage to any of the pieces in the packaging. Construction was fairly easy, my 9YO helped and we got it put together in about 30 minutes.

Good for youngsters
Great quality product. Not 100% easy to build alone and without the correct sockets. So have both the tools and help around when you decide to build. My kids love it though.

Perfect Fit for a Four-Year-Old
We already had the Sedona platform bed. Bought it for our (then) 2-yr-old. We bout the Sedona platform bed with the intention of adding this Sedona Jr Loft at a later date when our 2nd son was ready to move up to a big-boy bed. We wanted matching styles, since they'd be sharing a room for a while. We thought it would be tall enough to place perpendicularly over the platform bed, and it was, but didn't make a lot of sense to do. Instead, many of the boys toys are shoved under it which keeps them out of the way, and gives them kind of a fort to play under. Both boys love the easy-to-climb rungs! It looks handsome and contemporary too!

Great bed
This bed was everything my 3yr old needs. Love the low height and the stairs are great. Very sterdy there was a couple water type marks on the bed but when put together they were not visible. Great bed!
