Would a Twin XL mattress fit this frame?
No. Regular twin size mattress fits snug where there’s just enough wiggle room for sheets and comforter tucked in. There’s about a 3” lip all the way around that holds mattress in place.

What is the height of the bed frame from the floor?
My 90 year old mother is only 4’11” now and is looking for a low bed to easier get in and out of. Thanks!
Floor to bottom of bed frame measures 8.5”. With a 10” mattress, floor to mattress top measures 22”. Hope that helps.
