For the Kincaid California King Poster 4 Piece Bedroom Set a box spring is not required but we do recommend a bunky board.

Is it more of a cream white tone or more of a gray tone? I am looking for a piece that has more of a warmer tone to it. Not sure this is it.

I have an adjustable bed frame that is 13 inches from the ground. Will it be hidden by the side rails on the bed?
I would like the side rails of the kincaid queen bed to conceal toy adjustable bed frame which is 13 inches high, when it is in its full recline position however, I can't tell how far form the ground the rails are, and how wide they are. Could you give me those specs?
The Kincaid Queen Poster Bed has a height of 17" from the floor to the top of the side rail, and a height of 7" from the floor to the bottom of the side rail. The side rail has a thickness of 2".

Vintage like charm
I just bought a 93 year old house and needed a new bed. I actually fit a California king size in a fairly small bedroom and it totally works. It looks like it’s from that era and the quality is nice. Definitely recommend

It's very stylish. It's also taller than what I remember it at the furniture store. Make sure you consider the height of the ceiling of the room where it will go. Overall, very good quality and it totally fits with my Spanish modern style.

Nice sturdy bed.
Nice poster bed. The bed offers an alternate lower profile knob if you don't want the taller spindle on the footboard. The slats have 3 support across which distributes the weight of the mattresses.

Beautiful bed
We love our cal king Kincaid bed. I appreciated the option that came in the box to either use the tall footboard posts or top them off with short toppers. We did need a boxspring underneath our mattress.
