Storage footboard wonky
This bed is beautiful, but despite being shipped mostly constructed, it was still a huge pain to put together. Besides being a three person job (we made do with two), the side board brackets did not slide in flush with the footboard brackets even after many adjustments of angulation. We also found that the outermost legs of the footboard did not touch the ground no matter what height adjustments were made to the legs. But we’re actually getting a whole new footboard because one of our drawers was cracked in shipment (it happens, no stars removed for that), so maybe the next one will be less wonky. Be warned though that should you need to exchange any part of the bed (be it one small piece), you’ll probably have to give them back an entire box. So we’ll be spending a weekend removing the whole footboard and the individually screwed in slats.
