floor lamp works really well with sofa
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.furminator4 years agothe bellina-arc lamp has a heavy base, which makes the half-the-width-of-the-sofa reach of the lamp's arm not a scary tip-over risk. the foot-activated floor switch is plastic, though, and I doubt would take much stepping-on before it would break, and is also something for a person, dog, or vacuum cleaner to get tangled up in. so the thing I've done is to replace the light bulb receptacle with a switched receptacle so I can reach up inside the lamp globe to turn the lamp on and off, including ... when I'm sitting on the couch. it's good to be smarter than your furniture !

This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Devauxa4 years agoHi everyone, This lamp is great in my living room. Great shiny metal, the mass is made out of marble to maintain the weight of the lamp. Not that easy to install, even though the instructions are straightforward. Easier to be two people I guess... We created a metal shiny accent in our living room with this lamp, the bench and also a metal fake deer head in the whole. All together, great ! And the lamp imposes itself while being simply a thin piece of furniture. Light is strong enough for an ... evening, we only have two lamps on the corners in our living room, nothing on the ceiling, and this is definitely enough to read, play with baby...

The whole room was what we were looking for so bought the couch, rug, lamp and tables...the lamp does compliment the room and gives it quite a flare. Happy with this fun look.

Beautiful Task light

The only thing I wasnt aware of is how long the arch is. You really need enough room behind the sofa to push it back, so that the arch doesnt end up in front of the sofa and in your way. OTW, great style

I like it so much that I am about to purchase to purchase and second one for another room. The bulbs that come with it are not that bright so if you like additional light then you may have to upgrade your bulbs. I have the original bulbs in and love the lighting in my smaller room but plan to upgrade when I purchase this lamp again. The style is great and I actually had neighbors asking where I purchased it as I brought it home telling how ... great it will look. So go for it and you won’t be disappointed.

When I purchased this it was without a shade and the proportions and the density of the Spectra black painted finish contrasted perfectly with a metallic shade I already had. Its the great height and circumference to balance out a wide long hallway.

This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.debnak2 months agoI had another lamp in mind when I when to Living Spaces but then saw this one. The Edison bulbs are what really makes it. I love the soft light that this lamp provides while lighting the room effectively. When I picked it up, they just handed me the lamp. The lampshade is delicate and, I think, should be boxed as it was a little dented when I got home. If this happens, you can gently pull the shade into place but boxed would have been much safer.

We bought two lamps to replace two outdated, very worn ones. When our son visited he commented very positively on the appearance of the lamps. That he noticed is rare, and to receive a positive comment even more rare. The product quality is very good. The base and stem are quite sturdy. We will likely purchase the matching table lamp.

It was well packed and easy to assemble too. I would buy this light again, as well as another product by the same manufacturer.

Was actually going to return it, because I found a lamp I liked better, but when I got it delivered I fell in love with it. Vintage bulbs give the room a cozy feel. Because the frame is black didn’t think it would match the dark brown couches, but looks great. The only reason I gave it a 4 is that one of the bulbs went out a week after I got it. You can order bulbs on Amazon, so problem solved. Overall great purchase! Love it.

We came across this lamp in the store and was excited that it costs less than $100. It serves the purpose well and we placed it over a couch so that I can read lying down. We added a chaise to a funky corner in our master bedroom to fill up some space, then realized it could become a great reading nook, if we only had light that focused downward while we curled up with a book or newspaper. I was on a hunt since most lamp's light focuses upward. With this lamp we could adjust the height and it sits behind the lounge chair with the illumination focusing down. With coffee in hand, it makes ... the morning a bit more bearable while keeping up with the news.
