In order for the beds to be even while popped out, what size mattresses should I get?

Asked by: new grad
It is recommended to use twin 8" mattresses to get the Knox Metal Daybed With Revive Pop-Up Trundle to sit evenly with the trundle expanded.

I read where it was recommended to us a bunkie board for this daybed. How do you keep the mattress from rocking side to side on the curved slats?

Asked by: Bdb7
The $100 bunky board didn't help me AT ALL. Still very rocky.

How thick should your mattresses be if you want them to be flush when placed side by side?

Asked by: Cheryl1111
When propped up the trundle and daybed are the same height. To fit the trundle with a mattress underneath the day bed you should get a mattress that is 6".

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Slats rock you off the bed??? The slats on the day bed literally rock the mattress? It’s as if the slats are not the correct size for the bed?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love the look, HATE the slats I bought this daybed and trundle for out guest room. It looks great and feels sturdy. However, the slates curve upward. I purchased twin mattresses and bunky boards as recommended by the website. The mattress rolls back and forth on the slats like a rocking chair sideways. I experimented with and without the bunky board. Living Spaces sent someone out to look at it and he just shrugged his shoulders and said that's how it is. Customer Service did not resolve this issue. I finally zip tied the slats down to the metal. It's better, but still weird to sleep on.
