The Diamond EK Foundation Set has seven slats spaces 2.5" apart. There is not a set weight limit for this foundation; the weight limit will depend on the bed and mattress you use it with.

How far apart are the slats?
We have purchased a foam mattress that is 10" high and requires a wooden base that is solid or slats no more than 3" apart for warranty reasons. We are buying the Living Spaces Knox Cal. King Metal Panel Bed frame.
