We have an standard box spring displayed with the Dean Sand Full Upholstered Panel Bed. A low profile or standard foundation will work. The recommended mattress height will be 12"-15".

The under bed clearance for the Dean Jean Eastern King Upholstered Panel Bed is 4.7". We do not recommend changing the legs for the bed frame.

Purchased two of these. One a king and another a queen size. Study and good quality. If you purchase the correct foundation the mattress is above the frame and bed is easy to make.

High-end looking, incredible price
I searched hours on end for a bed that would warm up the room and make it cozy by taking up space (in a good way). I love the platform style beds but the prices for brands like pottery barn are really hard to swallow. I found this bed for a fraction of the price and was hesitant because I thought it might feel cheap. it does NOT feel cheap it any way. It is so durable and sturdy when put together correctly, and it has just the most beautiful silhouette. I included some pictures because I would have appreciated better customer photos when making the decision to buy this bed. It looks even more beautiful in person! If you are on the fence, let me assure you that there is no better quality bed out there for this price. Get it!
