It wasn’t until he graduated college that Jeremy Bishop was introduced to photography from using a GoPro to take photos of waves while surfing. He started traveling for two years after graduation and took on photography for work, growing a passion while surfing and taking photos of other surfers underwater. He loves the ocean and the process of capturing stills while in the water. What he finds intriguing about it is that it is a very unique perspective and a specialized field that requires skill and practice to capture quality stills in this environment. Another inspiration that he’s fallen in love with is the natural patterns and textures in nature. One thing Jeremy tries to portray and capture are the patterns and abstract textures the ocean and landscapes offer. Jeremy’s creative process is sparked in so many different areas now-a-days with social media. One main thing that sparks his creative eye is weather. There are so many ways to capture landscapes and people solely within the parameters of the seasons. He is always trying to involve water in every area of his creative process for that is where his passion lies. He strives to influence and encourage others through what he is most passionate about and skilled at. Through that, he hopes his viewers can be inspired and spark a passion and in turn influence them to move others through their own passion.
