Buying the Right Set for Your Home
Before buying a sofa and loveseat set, ask yourself these questions:
- What’s the seating like throughout the rest of the house? As the adage says, a home’s style and colors should ‘flow’ from room to room. Cohesion of these elements (at least a little bit) will help to ‘pull everything together’ – making a home feel like a home (and not two or three different homes)!
- Will I need any additional seating? If you want to add in an accent chair, don’t be afraid to choose one that ‘mixes’ with the set you are buying (as opposed to ‘matching’ with it). An accent chair, after all, is designed to accentuate, and not necessarily to blend in.
