Where do the brackets connect to the modular ends and the bed top?

Six brackets are supplied to connect the bed top to the two modular ends. But the directions are not at all clear on where these brackets are used to connect the pieces together. There are no clearly identifiable places to use the brackets.
Asked by: Griffin
For the Sedona Loft Bed, the brackets just need to hit wood. It really doesn’t matter much where that’s at. Many customers prefer to set the bed up with the brackets installed inside the top bed, so that they don’t show on the outside, but that’s just a preference. Please be sure to use the silver ¾” screws, not the 1” wood screws for the slats.

What is the distance between the bottom bed and the bottom of the top bed?

Asked by: momof2
I don’t have my measuring tape but depending on how thick the bottom mattress is, and I purchased a 10” if not the next size up for sure and there is still ENOUGH SPACE where I’m definitely not bumping my head! When I move if the bed set up doesn’t flow how it’s supposed to THIS WILL BE A UNDER DESK OR CLOSET! AMAZING SPACE! And the beds will be next to each other - Thinking beyond expectations! Never ending ideas! I LOVE MY SEDONA LOFT!

Can the stair chest be added to the bed? What is distance from base of loft bed to top of stair chest?

Asked by: Granny
Yes, I definitely recommend the stair chest, definitely measure the distance to where you will place it to have enough space to reach if needed on the other side, it’s a solid bed to move think more of this is the spot for it with space to at least wipe n dust wall side - it’s a beautiful wood finish.

Sedona Twin Over Twin Loft Bunk With Chest & Desk is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect bed! This bed is exactly what my boys wanted! It makes me want one for myself. Also a big deal was the delivery team they were so great, they had the bed put together is 45 minutes and they didn’t mind my boys being up their butts waiting for it! Great service!! Oh and I ordered it and it was her in 3 days!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disapointed I was disapointed with this product, I saw the bed at the store and it seem really good quality. So we purchased it. When we started to put it together I saw some cracks on the good, some un even surfaces . Like if it was built in a hurry and if fit together fine and if it didn’t oh well. Didn’t have time or the will to go and get the parts replaced. But I am not that happy about this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was the loft bed we were looking for We looked all over for a loft bed with desk underneath, shelves and/or drawers, hopefully in a dark wood stain to match the rest of my son's furniture and this one had it all! With a great price to boot!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bed for Limited Space This bed is a good quality bed and we love the drawers and desk which helped organized my son's room tremendously! However, I suggest you don't buy a bed like this if you are not handy with tools and putting things together. We had to drill a couple holes because the holes they drilled in the wood didn't match up with the other holes. There were also a couple hardware missing so we had to add to that as well. So make sure you've got some tools in your house and someone needs to know what they are doing to put this bed together. It also takes two people. It took me and my husband about 1 1/2 hours to put it together and he's a mechanic just FYI!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good product, horrible assembly 4 stars for the bed, 0 stars for "professional" assembly which damaged the bed. The bed is solid and attractive, very functional for a small space. Not mentioned in the description, each desk has a small built-in light which isn't quite bright enough to be a desk lamp for reading but it's useful. Lower bed is easy to roll. Only downside is it's a little tricky to move since the upper bed is not very well attached to the heavy desks underneath, so it takes two people. In a couple spots on the upper railings, the wood isn't quit joined properly, but it's minor. Overall, happy with the product. The $99 delivery/assembly from Living Spaces was a disaster, however, so I'd warn anyone purchasing from Living Spaces against having it assembled by their "professionals." One desk was assembled backwards (facing in against the lower bed) and they had drilled holes which are now visible once the desk was turned in the correct direction (see picture). It's bad enough to have to fix an assembly, but ridiculous to have the product visibly damaged. They did offer to replace it, but not in a reasonable time frame, so we'll try wood putty on the brand new bed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sedona loft--amazing! We purchased this loft bed for our 8 year old daughter and in her words, "it's a dream bed!" She has the smallest room in our house so the fact that this one piece of furniture incorporates a bed, drawers, shelves, a desk and an alcove space is INCREDIBLE. If they made this in a king size, I'd want it for myself! Solid pine, so sturdy. We are thrilled with this purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from TERRIBLE THE SIDE FRAMES WERE WARPED, THE SLAT SUPPORTS TWISTED, AND THE SIDE LOWER SUPPORTS WERE ATTACHED 3/4" OFF. THERE IS NO CLEAR ATTACHMENT TO THE END CASES AND THE SCREWS HOLDING THE SLAT SUPPORT WAS STICKING OUT OF THE FRAME. FOR THE COST, THIS IS HORRIBLE WORKMANSHIP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Bed We bought this for my 8 year old son. His room isn't very big so the all in one bed, desk, drawer combo was a perfect fit for our home. The quality is great! Well made, sturdy & fit our needs perfectly.
Date published: 2017-06-04
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased overall I really like this loft bed, and overall, I'm glad we purchased it. Thus far, it seems very sturdy--no shaking or wobbling when you're up in the bed. I also like how the bed is made in "attachable segments" so that you can put it together in different ways to fit in the room it's going in. That said, I do wish that there was an opening in the railing where the ladder attaches. It is kind of awkward trying to climb over the railing when you're on the top step of the ladder. I had originally wanted the storage staircase instead of the ladder, but it would have been way too short and much harder for my son to climb over once at the top of the stairs. Because the ladder seemed a bit slippery, we did have to buy extra anti-slip attachments from our local hardware store to place on each rung.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bed, with exception of ladder The bed itself is great, and my daughter loves it. The ladder broke quickly, and no one can really figure out how (the lowest step cracked when my daughter stepped on it, and she is just a tiny thing).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid, sturdy bed This loft bed is amazing. It's solid, it's sturdy, and it's perfect for my 8 year old son. The delivery was a breeze and I'm so happy I made this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loft bed for kids The loft bed is cute and a perfect set up for my kids with the desk and drawers. However, keep an eye on the installers, they built it a little crooked. I didn't noticed until after they left and it was too late to refuse delivery. But it's sturdy so the kids are safe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Bed for Kids Bought this bed for my son whos 8 and he loves it. Great sturdy wood. The desk works well with it being under the bed. The ladder adjust to the bed great. You can latch it on the side or screw it down so it wont move. The nice lamp light for the desk is great. Only thing is may scratch easly in certain areas. Espically if yoy dont screw the ladder down. The drawers could be a little bigger in length. But the under cubby fits toys, clothes or books well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bed for my son My son has a small room and to make the best of his room space and give him a desk to do his homework at, we thought a loft bed with a desk attached would be the best. I googled and found this bed and it was perfect. We went to living spaces to look at it first and it was sturdy and really nice. We ordered it and they put it together really quick. My son goes up and down the ladder a lot and now that school has started, he even has a place to do his homework. The bookshelf area is great and large enough to put oversized books. The bottom area is large enough that we put a table under it for him to build legos and play. The drawers are a little small to put much clothes in but we are going to order the matching dresser for him. All in all, my son loves it. My parents love it and think it's a great use of space. We can't be more happy with it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice! We bought this for our 10 year old, it's perfect. When the delivery guys brought it they missed a screw, but they set it up the way we wanted and were on time. The desk can be set up on the inside underneath the loft-we did that to save space. The loft is much heavier than I expected but good quality and very sturdy. Living Spaces has always exceeded our expectations in customer service I will definitely go back there for my next furniture purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great loft bed; Solid quality My son loves his loft bed. It is sturdy and looks great in his room. The quality of the materials and manufacturing is evident, great value for the money. Only downside is that the ladder doesn't connect firmly to the bed, it can slide around a bit. I could screw it into the wood, but I prefer not to damage the wood. Would have liked a better way to secure the ladder.
