What is the seat height?
The seat height is a little low. The top of the cushion is about 18" high, but you easily sink at least a half inch into it. I measured this carefully at the Van Nuys, CA showroom. I wish LS indicated the height of the sitting surface on their website.

Is the seat removable so that it can be reupholstered?
Unfortunately, the Rory Dining Side Chair fabric seat is not removable.
