The Ozzie Rectangle Dining Table finish is using a nitrocellulose lacquer topcoat. It can be lightly sanded, finished and topcoated with lacquer. (Note it needs to be lightly sanded because there is some veneer)

This table does not wiggle or jiggle. It stays in the same spot and expands.

BEWARE! Terrible quality
One month in and the oak veneer has water stains and is chipping. Water stain is just from condensation of a cup, can’t believe they carry such poor quality! Do not buy this if you plan to actually use this table for dining!! Filed a claim, but they are denying it, saying it’s not covered under warranty.

cool extending table.
We like this table because it extends from both ends and it doesn't involve removing or adding leaves. it seems sturdy and well made. We don' love the gray legs but can deal with that.
