The drawers in both of my Larkin dresser/chest as well as bed do not open and close smoothly. Is this normal? Will they loosen up a bit?
The Larkin Espresso Chest drawers should loosen up. It could be some dust from production got into the glides.

Does this exact dresser come fully built?
Checking to see if this dresser is built already upon shipment or if it all needs to be assembled.
Mine was delivered fully assembled, just wrapped in shrink wrap for transport. The delivery guy wheeled it in on a dolly, placed it where I wanted it, cut off the plastic, and that was that! Super easy.

Drawers are really difficult to close. The product packaging was incredibly wasteful and negatively impacted the environment. You won’t know the quality is poor until you start to use it and can assess the low quality of the item construction. The drawers don’t align or slide easily and the white paint chips off the edges.

We love the chest. Didn't like having to remove the packaging and putting the drawer knobs on, but I don't think I should have to pay for unpacking and assembling anything.

This is a roomy and we’ll built chest. It is very durable and looks beautiful. We love the felt skinnier drawer at the top that we use for all of our sunglasses.
