Nice and sturdy and great look. It is really an open rectangular frame and I. The middle there is a platform pretty simple with sheet wood and several little supports. Overall nice bed. Not thing is that the mattress should be at least 12” thick otherwise it’s lower than the headboard lower edge so keep that in mind. The headboard had some surface defects which for a $2400 bed I did mind. They sent a replacement and that was way better. Make sure that “buttery feeling” they’re selling you makes to your home lol be judgy. it’s an expensive bed get yo money’s worth

Fit and finish needs improvement. Sharp edges everywhere. Bed is cheaply made and requires ten small wooden posts under the platform to support a mattress. Wouldn't trust it to hold a Tempurpedic mattress.
