Chair...
I purchased just one of these chairs to use as a vanity chair in our new master bathroom. It's a nice looking inexpensive chair at the right height and it is comfortable enough for what I am using it for. It does however not appear to be the kind of chair that will last a long time. There are some blemishes on the lower legs but for the price I paid I can easily touch it up. If you are looking for an inexpensive chair that won't be used a lot then I think this is just perfect. I would not buy for a dining table if you plan to use it every day.

my experience at living spaces
We love the store and the sales people. I really like the vela chairs we purchased. they have an elegant yet timeless look to them. They are well cushioned and sturdy. An added compliment to our dining room.

Comfortable, But examine your chairs before accepting them
We thought we had finally solved our chair problem, as the Vela is comfortable, supportive, and pleasantly neutral in appearance. But the factory delivered damaged chairs to Living Spaces. There were nicks and cuts in the wood, chips, a split in the bottom of one leg, areas that had not been stained at all. Even when the store ordered replacements, out of the 8 we saw no more than 3 were even close to acceptable. We decided not to take such flawed goods, especially since there may have been hidden damage in addition to the visible problems. The store staff were totally helpful and understanding and readily gave us a full refund. I hope Living Spaces gets the factory to improve its quality control. Maybe they just had a bad few days when the chairs we saw were made. Check yours over -- easier if you get them at the warehouse instead of having them delivered.

Needed a new desk chair
My desk chair broke and I did not want to spend hundreds of dollars on a new chair. Found this one which was marked down. I love it. Matches my desk and is very comfortable.

Perfect chairs
Beautiful and comfortable. We looked for months to find the perfect chairs to coordinate with our solid cherry extension table. We wanted something that wasn't too tall that would obscure the table top.
