Our bench is on back order, but we had the same question. We had the sales associate remove the leaf and place the bench under the table. It fit perfectly.

I do not like the parson stool style, more of a traditional stool. However something that would match the wood color...

Will the bench push completely under the table.
I am looking to use this in a smaller space, and it would be a big help to push one bench up flush with the table top. If they both did, that would be even better. Thank you.

Yes it does but the mechanism is shoddy. Mine arrived broken. The wood holding the mechanism is cheap balsa-like wood.

Beautiful table! Goes wonderfully in our breakfast area. Great quality and my 3 kids love bench and fit comfortable on it with even space for another kid so allows for more guests at the table. Only removed one star bc the finishing on the surface is a tad uneven and when I inquired, they said it aimed like this.

This is definitely a more rustic piece
If you like a chunky/rustic/natural look, this table is great. The color is predominately charcoal with a slight hugh of brown mixed in. It is sturdy. It will scratch pretty easily, the seams are a little offset which is expected for such a rustic/natural piece. That being said, don't be sliding anything like a drink across the table as it will hit the offset seams and might spill. Not thrilled that the slats/grain of wood don't match going across the whole table. It's like two halves of a table randomly put together which might explain why there is high/lows in the seam. I haven't used the table with the leaves yet. Overall, I'm happy enough with my purchase and the table is working out well for me.

Poor build quality
Yes it is all wood and materials were pretty good for the money. However, the planks on the top DO NOT even come close to lining up when table is closed or when leaf installed. Appears they make the three parts of the top separately instead of building it together and then cutting the leaf out like they should. We had another one brought to the house thinking we just got a defective one. The second table was even worse and we returned both of them and took several days to get our money back after repeated calls and over an hour total on the phone.

Loved the purchase. It is a solid table and very easy to put it together. It took very little time to fix it all together. It has a rustic finish which is really nice but if the food particle gets in those places it might be difficult to clean . So far we have not come across of that problem . Definitely an eye catching look.

Very nice table. I purchased the set with chairs and bench. I've had it for a month and table seems sturdy. Very attractive in person. You can see more interesting detail in the wood than can be shown in photos. One chair wobbles, but maybe that was my assembly error? I can balance it out. Bench also looks great and can easily hold 3 average sized adults.
Giving 4 instead of 5 stars because two of the chairs came with marks on the seats in the same location. May have been where they were taped or some other substance was applied. I think I can cover it with wood pen.

Valencia Counter Height Table with Bench
I hardly ever leave a review good or bad BUT with this COVID quarantine I have nothing else to do. We bought this in-store this summer and it’s such a staple in our house! The brown is actually a much darker brown than shown online but I prefer it that way. Our only complaint so far is the foot holder on the bench - it’s already started to become wobbly and out of place. Other than that, we really love this table & get so many compliments on it. Although in our opinion it’s overly priced for a table set we still would highly recommend and are happy with our purchase!

Excellent Table
we went to a lot of different businesses, a lot of different stores and we finally decided on this dining room set. it was everything we were looking for. It has a really nice color and texture but the main thing is that it's a tall table so it's easier, in my opinion, to get in and out. people that have come and visited us give us a ton of compliments. Great purchase and a great investment.
