What are the dimensions for mattress and box spring if I went with the standard 8" box spring would I choose 11.5 or 14.5 so mattress level was the same as footboard ?

From the floor to the bottom of the rail is 6”.
From the top of the slat to the top of the rail is 3 ¼”.
From the top of the slat to the top of the footboard is 14”.

Sturdy frame with ability to further reinforce. The frame is not too high - I’m 5’ 4” and don’t have to reach to get on/off. The color is fairly neutral, making it easy to style.
