Description says fabric but in the photos it appears to be leather or leather-like. Please confirm.
Basically that canvas-weight microfiber with a gold-leaf-thin layer of color that begins peeling within months, or from the first nick put in it--followed by obsessing peeling by any small children in, or visiting the household.

Not for a healthy adult. A kid or an older person would have to put in some effort or find the "trick" of initiating closing and rocking yourself to standing, while your heels do the final closing, passively.

scorpio wallaway rocker recliner
I like the chair; however, it is hard to close the footrest. I wish you could extend the back without having to recline the whole chair. I am glad that it rocks, as well as swivels.
