Description says fabric but in the photos it appears to be leather or leather-like. Please confirm.
Basically that canvas-weight microfiber with a gold-leaf-thin layer of color that begins peeling within months, or from the first nick put in it--followed by obsessing peeling by any small children in, or visiting the household.

Is it difficult to close the recliner?
Not for a healthy adult. A kid or an older person would have to put in some effort or find the "trick" of initiating closing and rocking yourself to standing, while your heels do the final closing, passively.

I love the chair but we turned it over to move it and the ball bearings fell out. I guess I'll just drop them back in but I don't think this is normal.

Comfortable & Fun, POORLY CONSTRUCTED!
The FIRST time I bought this chair, the wooden frame in the back broke, an the whole chair tilted like a sinking ship when put in the reclined position. Fortunately, I had the insurance, and they replaced it immediately, and said to keep the broken one. The second one lasted about 8 months before the really badly designed and constructed swivel base started to fall apart, both difficult-to-access-and-tighten screws and welds! I really did like the comfort level of the chair, and the reclining action and the rocking-swivel--but the quality of construction blows. Also, the faux leather vinyl color starts peeling like a month or two in. If you want a movie prop, or feel like it's a bargain to replace TV chair once a year--go for it, it is cozy...but don't get too attached to it! If I were going to get a new one at Living Spaces with the wisdom of experience, I'd choose a non-swivel with a solid fabric or actual leather, and dip any screws in THREAD LOCK during assembly.

Decent for the price.
The product is nice but not a super comfortable recliner, the bottom foot rest is difficult to put back. Also takes a while to “break in” but for the price, it’s a good purchase.

Buyers Remorse
Buyers remorse. Bought 2. One for my husband and one for my son. My son is about 50 lbs. heavier than my husband. Son is not as comfortable in the chair.

Almost perfect
Fit beautifully in our smaller space. I live the lumbar support. Only issue is getting out of the recline position. You have to really kick the bottom piece back into place. Hoping it gets easier the more it’s used.
