What is the height between the slat and the top of the side rail? That would help me understand the height of mattress I can buy

Nice*
Nice sturdy bed. Love the pearly color. The only thing I will change is the bunky board I got the 2 inch and the mattress is to low and it fall inside the bed frame. I’ve hit my ancle twice by getting of the bed.
