Can you use a box spring?
I know box spring is not required but can one be used?
A Box Spring may be used with the Pierce Queen Panel Bed please note that if one is used the mattress will sit substantially higher.

I prefer a taller bed so can I still use my box springs? Also how tall is the platform from the floor to where the mattress will go.
With a boxspring you are looking at about 22 inches from the base of top of the bed. Which is really high. The bed frame sits at 16 inches already. Our bed is 27inches from floor to top of the mattress no box spring because we have an adjustable bed. So add 16 to the size of your mattress and box spring and you will get the height of your bed. Hopefully this helps.
