Can the back and seat cushion covers be removed for washing (do they have a zipper) or are they sewn closed?
We do not recommend placing the Mikayla Teal 76" Queen Plus Sofa Sleeper seat cushion covers in the washing machine. We recommend using a foam only water based cleaning agent or with a pure solvent in a well ventilated room like Energine, Carbona, Renuzit. Pretest a small area before proceeding. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended

How would you fit a sheet over the mattress since the mattress does not lift up? Any ideas?
Looked for this but they don't work for the Mikayla, the mattress is affixed to the sofa, doesn't lift up so what kind of sheets will fit as it would need to go over the sofa. can you provide specific one that actually fits the sleeper?

The legs do need to be attached to the Mikayla Teal 76" Queen Plus Sofa Sleeper and it requires a minimum 32" doorway clearance.

The Pinnacle Of Sleeper Sofas
Do you want a sleeper sofa that looks stylish when folded and is super comfortable when using as a bed? This is your go-to couch. Most sleeper couches are Jack-of-all trades, master of none. Not this bad boy. The color is fantastic and matches our new rug perfectly! My wife and I could not be happier.

Extremely worth it and comfortable
This sleeper is absolutely fantastic. It's well built and extremely comfortable as is. That said, I added a 3" memory foam topper for a recent guest who slept on this for a week, and he said that combo made for the best sleep he's had in years. It's also extremely comfortable just as a sofa. I highly recommend this twin sleeper over any other at any store. It's extremely heavy and very sturdy.

Nice sofa and bed
I’ve had the sleeper sofa for one year and it is holding up nicely. The sofa is comfortable. My guests love the comfort of the pull out bed. Only drawback is it takes some force to transition the bed all the way out. King sheets fit best on this “queen” bed.

Only size and color great
I bought this several months age so grandchildren could spend the night. As soon as it was delivered, I called for an exchange. I thought that the mattress hanging so low that it was visible from the front of the couch was a defect and looked tacky. No defect. All are constructed that way. The couch seat cushions are so firm to the point of being uncomfortable. The back cushions are too soft and don’t hold their shape well. Today I tried to prepare the bed for my grandchildren. Impossible to put sheets on because no corners of the mattress lift up. I will ask them to bring sleeping bags. I would be embarrassed to ask adult friends to spend the night.
