Sturdy but has very rustic, antique paint look.
Its really sturdy and was easy to set up. The pictures made it seem that it would be pure black, but there is a very rustic texture to it that did not show in any pictures (aka the black paint doesn't fill in the dips so it's a little salt and pepper looking, especially on the bottom part). Other than that surprise it's good.
