Install 32 Lag screws to assemble Bunk bed ends to Frame rails - Install 20 wood screws to install slat rolls and individual slats on bed surface. Install 4 - 1/2" x 3" Wood dowels to stack top bunk on bottom bunk. Drill recommended but not required.

The ladder for the Mateo Blue Full Over Full Bunk Bed can be positioned at any point along the middle 3 ½” guard rail on the bed.

What is the total footprint of the bed while ladder is in place... how far out do ladders extend while in position ? Trying to make sure the room and walking space is large enough w both ladder (two twin sets) extended and angled in place.

What is the distance between the bottom bunk and top bunk (head clearance for the bottom bunk area)?
The distance between the bottom bunk slats to the top bunk slats on the Mateo Blue Full Over Full Bunk Bed is 38". It would depend on the thickness of the bottom bunk mattress subtracted from 38" to find the head clearance.

I bought this bunk bed about 10 months and is broken,I thought that the wood with which the bunk was made was of good quality, for the price that was paid of around $1200 dollars it was worth it but I see that it was not, my son just sat down and the wood began to open to such a degree that he ended up breaking.

The poor reviews are correct
I wish I could give 5 stars for the customer service alone. Everyone I interacted with at living spaces from the store to the delivery was exceptional!! Delivery and set up was fast & easy and only $99 to set up a bunk bed- totally worth it!!
The bad part is that all the reviews about the quality of the bunk bed is correct. I’m so afraid the whole thing will crumble at any minute. It’s super shaky. There’s already a large crack and I feel like the mattresses are too heavy for the bed slats. I did read the reviews before purchase and wish I had picked one of the other beds but unfortunately I went with aesthetic over quality. Bad idea

Solid bed frame with some factory defects.
For the price, I'm expecting better quality.
To be fair, the bed frame is solidly built, sturdy. Bed slats are reasonable apart unlike some other cheaper beds. However there are many cosmetic defects and flaws to be considered before you place an order. The one I received had chipped wood in almost all of the headboards and at least two per headboard. The missing or holes in wood are patched with rubber material and visibly painted over in the factory. More than half of the bed slats are not one solid piece of wood, but instead they are 3, 4 or even 5 pieces of wood glued together to form one slat. Some minor cracks in the bed frames as well. This is nothing like the unit in the showroom. If it's not delivered and installed, I might as well buy a cheaper one from Wayfair or another online store..

I recently received this bed 4/3/22 and I am extremely unsatisfied with the quality, it looks like it has only 1 coat of paint on wood that was not sanded properly and is extremely rough all around with no finish on it, the slats all look like they are about to break with so many rough edges and I’m afraid my kids will get splinters from it, and every time I go to sit on it something cracks as if it’s about to break, it was a good amount of money for it to have so many defects and I am for sure unhappy with this purchase

A great bed
I was combining my two kids into the same room one had a full bed in the other had a twin and this just worked out perfectly in the space we needed to combine them to. I highly recommend this bed. We had them install the bed and it went super quickly
