The drawers in both of my Larkin dresser/chest as well as bed do not open and close smoothly. Is this normal? Will they loosen up a bit?
The Larkin Espresso Chest drawers should loosen up. It could be some dust from production got into the glides.

Checking to see if this dresser is built already upon shipment or if it all needs to be assembled.
Mine was delivered fully assembled, just wrapped in shrink wrap for transport. The delivery guy wheeled it in on a dolly, placed it where I wanted it, cut off the plastic, and that was that! Super easy.

It’s not worth the price-cheap product.
This product is garbage. And I feel like I can’t return it without a high price for me to pay. The craftsmanship is poor, the construction of the rear legs led to breakage in transit, the slide hinges are so horrible that they don’t work; I am unable to open and close the drawers smoothly without having to forcibly push and pull the drawers. The screws fell out of the hinges when I tried to adjust the drawers. The drawer slides were broken and cheap. I paid too much money for a product I could have gotten at Ikea for cheaper. Cheap hardware, so disappointing.
