54 X 54 is with the extension. We didn't take ours out, so I am not sure what the measurement is without it.

Rory table leaf extension
Leaf extension had a few nicks in it. They sent out a replacement very quickly, but that also had a slight damage. Looks like they try to repair the damage before shipping out to us.
