What is the depth of the couch area? The depth listed has got to be the depth of the chaise section.
You are correct the 86" depth refers to the chaise, but the seat depth on the sofa portion is 38".

Is the fabric on the couch soft polyester that changes when brushed with your hand?
Different types of polyester change the look of the couch when brushed with your hand or after sitting.
The Maven Shadow 2 Piece Sectional With Right Arm Facing Chaise And Cocktail Ottoman does have a slight pile, so the color will vary if you swipe your hand across it.

Looks beautiful with the dark gray however I wish the ottoman was openable and pillows were detachable but overall it’s a good sofa

Love love love this sectional so much ! I was Apprehensive at first about shopping online but after reading after reading all the wonderful reviews and looking at all the customer photos I was Sold I have Two babies and this is defbately kid friendly easy to assemble and very comfortable! So much so that we spent the night in our new couch since we also got the ottoman it was perfect! Love it so much

Good stuff
delivered by two very nice man they place them straight my living room for me and I am packed and myself. It was not hard at all I like the size and I feel the couch they are heavy and they do have pieces/feet at the bottom we have to put together yourself. That’s also very easy it’s just like a twist on the leg.

Maven sectional
This sectional was comfortable and provided good support. The color is charcoal and looks greenish. Definitely not blue like others mentioned in some of the reviews. It looked like a bluish tone charcoal on my computer screen, but was disappointed to get greenish charcoal ( which doesn't work color wise in my home). The attached back pillows look uneven at top ( from being sewn in and stuffing uneven) and therefore has a messy look and ruins the clean appearance of it. This piece was made overseas ( please be more transparent about where items are made in the future). There was also an odor from the couch that was bothering me, and unfortunately had to return it, which was a bit of pain. I think sectional was overpriced- don't think it was worth $ 795.

Gorgeous Piece, Very Blue not Grey
I ordered this online without having seen it in person. I loved the pictures and the measurements fit the space I was looking to fill. The delivery was seamless - on time, professional and paying the fee for setup was well worth it.
The sectional is comfortable, not too firm and the fabric very soft and easy to gently brush clean if needed. The ottoman feels large but fits well with the couch and I love it.
The biggest caveat here is that I thought it would be more charcoal in person, but it is fairly blue, so blue-grey in total.

Super Soft and Comfy
I usually go to a store and buy my furniture but since that's not happening right now, I had to rely and other people's review. I am super happy this my decision to buy this soft and velvety sectional and matching outoman. Fits perfect in my apartment living room.
The only drawback it that dirt might collect in the button hole type upholstery. You'll just need a vacuum extender to keep it clean.
