The pieces I received were finished underneath the marble and you could certainly choose not to use the marble if you wanted. It may not be waterproof, so you might need to be careful with liquids.

Purchased Saturday online delivered Monday, Broken Leg chipped wood and a third drawer that will not open all the way and has to be slammed shut to close, what a ripoff, only had it 6 hours, cant return it, charge me a restocking and now have a broken box and it wont fit in my car, Thats quality at $695 Thanks Nate Berkus, Living spaces is just a showroom with a warehouse filled with broken furniture delivered by a 3rd party, again what a Ripoff!!!!

Beautiful Chest
I absolutely love this bachelor’s chest. The size makes a statement and the marble top is so elegant. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the paint was missing on portions of the bottom. It wasn’t due to shipping but how the paint was finished. I reached out several times to customer service and never got a response. Not bad enough to return but will have to find a solution on my own.

This night stand has been one of the best quality items we've purchased at Living Spaces. We get so many compliments on it. The marble top makes it easy to clean, the drawers are made of excellent quality. To me, the color is more of a Black/brown. So beautiful just on its own!

Beautiful piece
I bought this end table to use as a small chest. It is beautiful. It seems to be a well made heavy piece of furniture . It is part of a bedroom set meant to be an end table. But it is substantial enough to use for other purposes . I love the graceful lines, and it could fit w traditional to more contemporary design.
