If the seat height feels too low, is it possible to add legs to this sofa’s base myself? Is the bottom of this base wood?

The Jil Grey 131" 3 Piece Sofa the legs are made of plastic and can be replace. As for the base, the entire bottom is not wood, but the frame that the legs screw into is wood.

the jil gray 90 " apartment sofa comes in two pieces. Do these 2 pieces connect to each other? My floors are hardwood and I am concerned the 2 pieces will slide apart if someone is laying across the two pieces.
