For the Jacoby Denim 78" Full Sofa Sleeper, the back cushions are attached to the sofa frame and cannot be removed. The seat cushion covers are removable, however we recommend spot cleaning only. This product has a fabric care code of W: Water-based cleaning agents or foam may be used. Use only distilled water; tap water may cause rings or fading.

I M interested in this Jacoby sleeper. I am concerned that it would fit through my garage office door...You list 29" and one half clearance. My door opening is 29" and a little more than half. Will this work? Thank you.

Do you feel the bars across the bed when laying in this sleeper?
The older sofa beds had a bar that ran across the bed and I remember how uncomfortable it was. Wondering if this sleeper has the same?
Yes, there are horizontal bars on the sleeper. The suspended platform along with the high-density foam mattress should mitigate being able to feel the bars when you lay down on the mattress, however, if your weight is focused directly on top of the bar, you would feel it.

Is it real denim material or another fabric?
And, is the gunmetal color died denim? If not, what is fabric.
Denim color but smooth upholstery fabric. Seems sturdy and well made and will hold up to spills, etc.

For a $600 couch, the mattress & couch is pretty comfortable.
Also, a power drill is required to install the legs on the bottom. Online instructions say to use a screwdriver, but you can’t screw nails in wood with your bare hands.

What a deal for this full size sleeper sofa! Looks nice and good quality. The mattress is on the thinner side, as expected. But with a mattress pad I'm sure it will be very comfortable for the occasional guest. The sofa was a little larger than I expected, it almost didn't fit through the bedroom doorway and getting it up the stairs was a bit challenging too. My husband probably wishes I would have paid the $99 for the full service delivery and set-up.
