Can the wood be stained?
I suppose you could but I wouldn’t recommend it. I don’t think it will come out looking better than it was originally meant to be. The wood has a very minor sheen to it. Barely noticeable. I think it has been finished off with a coat of something that will not take the staining too well.

Great table, fits small spaces perfectly
