Would I be able to stain this table?
The Elle 6 Piece Dining Set is not recommended to be stripped. But to repair, it is no problem to sand and stain.

Is the table top water resistant or will glasses leave a ring?
The table top of the Elle 7 Piece Dining Set is water resistant for spillages, but it is advised to clean them in a timely manner so that it doesn't seep into the table joints, which could affect the finish. It is advised to use coasters for exceptionally hot/cold drinks as they could leave rings on the table.

Bought this set two years ago, but its low quality is only now beginning to show. The chair joints are loose and there’s no way to tighten them. The seat cushion seams are coming apart. And the veneer is coming off on the edges. Will likely look elsewhere for the next set.
