How long is the sleeping area (inches to feet)?
I am 230 pound male about 5’8 in height, will I be able to sleep on this every night for the next - eh - say two to three years? And also what size fitted sheet would fit this perfectly?

What is the thickness of the mattress?

The couch cushions are majority of the bed mattress and they are quite thick. The temperapedic foam is only at the bottom of the bed and id say its only a couple inches thick. You can feel the wood through the mat but when sleeping it is not very noticeable.

Comfortable
This is a great sleeper sofa. I purchased it for my office for when I get tired and just needed something close to crash on.
First of all the fabric is soft and very comfortable. The mattress is firm but not stiff.
Depending upon what you want to do, the mattress can be manipulated into a twin size or queen size bed. If you want to use that option, make sure you have the correct sheet size. The seem between the mattresses is uniform and close such that it have that gap that causes people to slide off or poor posture.
Back and leg support is very good, and with the pillow firmness make it easy for old folks like me to get off when I need to get up.
Delivery was flawless, the total weight is very light making it easy to move around the house.

Perfect for the Office Guest Bedroom
I was looking for an affordable yet comfortable pull out sofa and this fit the profile. The sofa bed is quite comfy and spacious enough for two people. I like that this isn't the normal trundle style sofa bed because that can get uncomfortable on your back. This one uses the cushions of the couch and a nice memory foam like bedding which is comfortable for those who like a more medium to firm feeling for sleeping.

Sleeper sofa great value
The couch is very basic, the sleeper sofa is easy to pull out. When you put the sleeper sofa away, you must be sure, the sofa is “locked” in otherwise when you go to sit on the couch the bottom will slowly side out. The cushions are comfortable, we bought specifically thinking of the sleeper.

Very comfortable couch-bed
My brother bought this exact couch. I was impressed. This is the perfect size to replace the loveseat in my den. The arms are “thin” which means it takes up less floor space but still is a queen size bed. As a couch, it’s firm but comfortable. Long enough that I can lay comfortably to watch tv. It’s much easier to pull out for a bed then my other convertible. As a bed it’s comfortable. Firm, but no bar that goes across your back . Definitely recommend.

Just the perfect size guest sleeper
This is the sofa you are looking for to use in your guest room. It’s a good size but not overwhelming in a regular 10x10 or 10x 12 room. It leaves pleyof rom for an entertainment center or 2 sleek Scandinavian dressers being used for guests with a 55’”TV. It’s easy to pull out and ready for guests or they can visit and also have a sofa during the day. The color blends with any decor. Great buy. I tried it and yes, you can sleep in comfort without hurting your guests. No bar on the back or stiff from a too hard bed. You might have more friends visit.
