The Chapman California King Storage 4 Piece Bedroom Set does not come with a mattress. All mattresses are sold separately.

Can you use a box spring if you want too? We have a sleep number mattress with the special base.
The Chapman Eastern King Sleigh Bed With Storage cannot accommodate a Box Spring also please note that the mattress will sit substantially higher.

Revive 2.0 Queen Adjustable Base
What is the distance from top of the slate roll to the top of the side rail? It looks pretty small. Does your Revive 2.0 Queen Adjustable Base fit into this Chapman "storage" bed with or w/o the legs? What is the "thickness" of the Revive 2.0 adjustable base (w/o the mattress retaining wire) and will it sit above the side rail causing the mattress unable to sit in the bed pocket and moves?
The distance from the top of the slat roll to the top of the side rail, on the Chapman Eastern King Sleigh Bed with Storage, is 2.25".
The Revive 2.0 Queen Adjustable Base should fit in this bed, but there will be a 16"W gap on the sides.
Given that the thickness of the base is roughly 3", we do not recommend using this base on this bed.

The Chapman California King Sleigh Bed With Storage does not require a Box Spring it is optional.
