what is the width of the chair - from which point do you measure
Hi, I measured mine. They are 16" wide inside the curve of the back and total of 19" at the seat in front. Hope this helps

These seem to stain very easily. Can the covers be removed and washed? Can we scotchguard them?
To clean the fabric of the Bowery II Side Chair, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid the use of chemicals and household cleaners as they might damage the cover. Dust and dirt cause fabric to wear faster, we recommend vacuuming regularly with an upholstery attachment.
The covers cannot be removed. We do not recommend scotchgarding them and doing so will void the warranty it comes with.

Great chairs for the price!
Very nice chairs for the price. The seat cushion is a little thin, but the chair is still comfortable to sit on an extended period of time. Color is great too. Took less than 10 mins to assemble the legs.
