Safe Materials
The mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified and Formaldehyde Free Certified by UL Environment. That means the mattress is scientifically tested for prolonged exposure in environmental chambers to meet rigorous emissions standards for chemical exposure and pollutants, such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs), formaldehyde and phthalates.
Organic Elements
The eco-friendly mattress includes GOLS certified organic latex rubber foam, 100% GOTS certified organic wool and 100% GOTS certified organic cotton. Avocado also makes their own 6-inch steel coils right in their L.A. factory.
