Does the desk have one big drawer or two separate drawers?
From the pictures it almost seems like the two drawers are connected and cannot be opened individually. Is this the case?
It has two separate drawers. They are both pretty roomy, but admittedly not very deep. But they have a nice brown, felt-like fabric the lines them inside, which is a nice touch.

Sturdy and Looks Great
I already had a table that was similar to the Alton, though it was slightly bigger. As for the Alton, I loved that it was sturdy, looks great in a (relatively small) bedroom, and the design was great too! One last thing to note is that I liked how the drawers were pretty deep for its size.

It’s so tiny you can only have a small laptop on it and nothing else. Most office chairs don’t even fit under it, definitely only for decoration.

Cracked. Unresolved.
Delivered with a crack in the back. Filled out online form a month ago and haven’t heard back. Dealing with a lot of other Living Spaces issues so haven’t taken this one up in earnest yet. Looks great pushed against the wall. If I ever want to bring it out into a more visible position, it’s gonna show that crack. :(

The Perfect Workstation desk
Good quality wood desk, with a clean, timeless, minimalist design. The 2 drawers are the perfect size to store items you need handy in a work/desk station. I was surprise to find that my laptop comfortably fits in the the drawer, with space to spare.

Pretty but too short to sit under and poor quality
Beautiful desk but a little too short to sit under and I'm only 5'4". Also I received not one but two that were both significantly broken. Had to return one because it was totally broken. The other I kept because I didn't have time to return a second one all over again but definitely disappointing it has a gash in the wood and discoloration in the wood. Also it took them weeks to get back to me about the complaint which was disappointing.

I ordered this desk without seeing it in person. I am very pleased with the quality. The color is well represented; it is a very dark espresso. The desk top is wood and beautiful. The two drawers close tightly. Very sturdy all wood legs and leg brace. Very easy, quick assembly. Overall, a great value for the price.

Great Home Office Desk!
Love this desk, The 2 drawers are perfect and lined with felt. They open smoothly and quietly. I like the dimensions since I have a small den that has been converted into a home office and double-duty's as an additional sleeping area. I just wish that they made more items in this space efficient proportion that includes a bookcase or a small console table. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with this particular purchase despite the pick up schedule mishap. Benjamin from the Mission Valley store made up for the miscommunication from the customer service line. I was able to receive the desk after not being able to pick it up as scheduled.

Love the Alton collection
I got this desk to eventually use as a vanity, but mostly using this to work from home for now. First delivery arrived a little damaged, but they were able to exchange it pretty quickly. Good desk for small spaces and I think it is really good quality for the price. It goes perfectly with the rest of the Alton Cherry collection from Living Spaces. Love the mid century modern look of the collection.

Literal Garbage
It may feel like a heavy quality piece of furniture but its really just thinly veneered garbage. We purchased this to save money as it was 50% less than the mid century desk we were looking at elsewhere. Within a month the veneer chipped from regular usage, the arm from the chair must of hit it at some point. This was a first and will be the last purchase from Living Spaces. We were told it was past its 7 day warranty period.

Perfect Sized, Mid Century Looking Desk
This desk is the perfect size for a smaller space - it is 18" deep, which is plenty of room for a laptop, and 44" wide, so it's not cumbersome. The drawers are each big enough to store a laptop, power cord, mouse and notebook & pens. Working from home, one drawer is for my work laptop, and the other is for my home laptop. I use a dining room chair, and when I'm not using the desk, it is just a nice piece of furniture by the window. This desk has really helped me create my own space for working from home.
