Does the Allen Eastern King bed need a box spring mattress and a mattress?
The Allen Eastern King Panel 4 Piece Bedroom Set bed will require a mattress but the box spring is optional. Please note that those will have to be purchased separately.

What mattress size goes with king bed. The dimensions of the bed leaves good 5” gap on each side for normal kinfg mattress. I have this bed but unfortunately the mattress does not fit.
The recommended mattress height for the Allen Eastern King Panel Bed is 80 inches long and 76 inches wide which would be an Eastern King size.

Horrible quality
Horrible! Can’t sleep with my husband anymore he says the creaking from me rolling over was too loud. I paid 1k for my husband to never want to sleep in our king bed again … lovely… customer service gave me 10% off.. $100. I still need a new bed and this is ultimately now about a $900 loss for us. Wish someone who can actually assist us would reach out.

I purchased this in August and it was broken by early December. with just one person using it part time. The whole bedroom set is a beautiful design but this quality is unacceptable.

Unstable Foundation
Broke within the first month. For such a high price, I am so disappointed. The middle support beam wasn't sturdy enough so everytime we got on the bed, you could hear all the beams creaking. Then one day, they snapped. So sad we spent so much and then had to buy a foundation from Amazon.
