Is the table top affixed to the base/legs? the instructions simply show that you place the tabletop onto the assembled frame.
The Ace Outdoor Dining Table is NOT affixed to the base/legs. Placing the heavy top onto the assembled frame is fine.

is this top water-proof? Or does it leave glass rings as one reviewer mentioned? We ordered it to go on a deck that is NOT covered and if rain will stain then we need to select something else or cancel our order
wow Living Spaces why dont you tell buyers this info--JUST CANCELED MY ORDER OF THIS TABLE. If it rains and water sits for more than two hours table is ruined...................glad im buying much more expensive weatherproof items.

Think Carefully
It is a sturdy table but I am concerned about the powder coating long term and the fact that it already has imperfections at delivery. Picks up dirty fingerprints quickly too. Delivery guys left and I was out there wiping prints away with warm water. If you will store it outside in a covered patio area or colonnade, you might be fine, but in weather exposed areas you definatley need to think twice about constant water spots and long term UV damage and subsequent peeling.

Doesn't last even a year
Bought this table as I was hoping to find something that was more resilient being outdoors to replace a wooden table that had become termite infested. Table looked great when received and was pretty happy with it. Fast forward 11 months and the coating on the table has started to flake off. Contacted Living Spaces about warranty on it and basically told that since it's outdoors it's not warrantied. I mean what? It's an outdoor table! It's in the title!!! It was under a sun shade for the entire year and didn't move. They can also offer no suggestions as to what the coating is to repair it. Don't waste your money if you want something that will look nice for at least more than a year.

Love this set
I had another dining table/chair set but just didn't love looking at it, so I decided to treat myself to something nicer. I just bought this set, so I can't speak to durability but I love the look of this set and the chairs are really comfy. The cement tabletop is super heavy and sturdy. And, LOVE that I ordered it and it was delivered same-day! Another Living Spaces win.

Very stylish table
Love the style of this table, plus the chairs are very comfortable. The light gray concrete top goes well with my gray/beige decor. The top does seem show water spots/glass rings so I intend to use placemats to avoid staining.
