will the rug pad make marks on hardwood floor like the rubber ones do?

The luxehold pad will not mark the floors. It carries a 20-year manufacturer warranty, and part of the warranty is against marring or sticking.

Is this rug pad safe for hardwood floors. Which side should come in contact with the laminate wood flooring?

I am concerned that the rubber/vinyl backing of the rug pad may cause damage to the protective coating of the floor. I enclose a picture of the floor in question along with the pad in an effort to expedite the answer.

I would not hesitate to use this rug pad on any type of flooring. The rubber side should be the side in contact with the hard surface flooring

Safe for Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) Flooring?

Our LVP flooring has a wear layer. The LVP manufacturer indicated that "non slip" layments may cause discoloration over time. Is this Luxehold pad safe for LVP flooring?

This rug pad is much better than most rug pads that I have purchased. First off, it is two sided. You can use this pad on carpet or on tile/wood floors. We have both in our home and that was a surprise feature to us. We have wood floors where this particular pad was laid down and rug placed on top. Neither have budged. I have LOTS of foot traffic in my home and have noticed no corner has turned up and no one has stumbled/tripped on or over the rug. Very happy consumer here!!
