Beautiful rug, but very strong chemical smell. We returned it.
We LOVE the look of this rug. It's soft as well and it worked great in our home. However, immediately upon unrolling it, a very strong chemical smell filled the room and the house. We decided to move the rug into our garage with a fan on for 5 days with hope that would solve it. Unfortunately it only slightly reduced the smell, so we decided to return it. The smell is just too much (and we worry it's unhealthy). Would love to repurchase this someday if it was de-odorized.
