Thank goodness it was transitional
I originally purchased this rug, because the client was planning on keeping a teak bed frame. Therefore I designed the room around this rather dated looking bed, with the hope that in a few years we could update it and not everything else, again. Last minute the client decided to get rid of the bed. Thankfully the rest of the room still worked. This rug is beautiful, timeless and was an insane deal!

Lovely colors (web pics don't do it justice)
We saw the rug in a Living Spaces store and it was all the lovely shades of cream, caramel and subtle blues that got us. (The web site pictures are drab, dark and yellow - no idea why they don't show the actual colors at all. That's why I haven't posted a pic - in case that doesn't display accurately either!).
It feels good and is a very nice quality, classy rug. The pattern is interesting yet subtle. Adds some real warmth and visual interest to an otherwise neutral room with a warm beige couch and love seat. I like blank-canvas rooms with interesting accessories so you can change the look. There are enough variations in the colors for this rug to go with a lot of decors and let you pick out an accent color from it for throws, cushions, vases, etc.
We want a glass top coffee table now, so you can see as much of the rug as possible!

Love our new Royal Tapestry
Recently updated our living room and purchased from Living Spaces a (Tommy Bahama) Rug-Royal Tapestry in neutral colors which complemented our furnishings and brought a new fresh look into our living room. We were so happy that we later purchased a second Rug-Antalya Trellis for our dining room. It had the same effect.
