Decorative Wall Panels

There are several types of wall panels. Check out some of the common types below, along with the differences between each:

Decorative Wall Panels. Panels that can be placed on a wall, similar to wall art. Unlike wall art (which usually involves a painting depicted on a canvas), decorative wall panels are often plain, devoid of artwork. Most panels are often similar to the wall itself; usually a solid color and meant more to blend in rather than “stand out.”
Wall Paneling. Unlike the removable decorative panels, these are built into the actual wall. They will often require installation by a professional.
Wall Plaques. Wall plaques are often small boards with decorative art. Their size and simplicity makes them distinct from wall art, and closer to the “wall panel” category – which is why they are grouped as such here.
