Cube storage: a term that can mean different things to different people – but here, we’re allowing the term to encompass anything that’s storage that contains cube shape, or cube-like properties. (We can get pretty niche when we want to!)
Types of Cube Storage
1. The Storage Cube
The storage cube is, if you’ll allow us to get candid with you, just so darn cute! Basically, it’s a cube (ottoman-like, but not quite as big (or long) as an ottoman), that lifts from the top. While it can be used as a foot prop or place to set your magazines or drink, its primary function is to store things inside it. The most beautiful part about it is this: its storage compartment is hidden, and often, your guests will never know that within it lies all your blankets/books/mail/purses (or whatever you choose to place inside it!).
2. The Cube Bookcase
Just as its name suggests, the cube bookcase is a bookshelf with cube shelves. In other words, the shelves are arranged in such a way that they form little ‘compartments’ or ‘display windows’ (rather than your traditional ‘horizontal-line, one-on-top-of-the-other’ shelf design).
