Long dressers are great for larger bedrooms or bedroom with one empty wall. They tend to have two sets of drawers side by side, and some may even have three, four or even five depending on the style. Long dressers tend to be low units, meaning they can be useful to display things at a lower level or to place mirrors on. Some are incorporated with built-in mirrors, making them ideal to double up as a dressing table when combined with an equally stylish chair if you have the space.
These longer styles of dressers don’t need to eat up all your floor space, even if you have a smaller bedroom. Many are lifted off the floor on legs, providing either a useful storage space or simply allowing the light to flow better around your room. Dressers don’t have to be used for just clothes, either. Some have many, smaller drawers- ideal for those who need places to store crafting equipment or collectibles. How about a dresser in the spare room to keep all those papers you need to keep hold of?
Choose natural wood to complement rustic bedrooms, or sleeker, varnished or painted pieces for more modern rooms. Now you just have to decide what to keep in it.
