Contemporary frame / headboard with subtle storage

It was a great next-step for my son that should carry him through his teen years. It's well crafted and sturdy, super easy to make the bed since the footboard is low! He loves the sliding door on the shelves so he can hid his special things behind it and it's a great way to display all his cool stuff (books, alarm clocks, special toys & trinkets) without having to build shelves and put (more) holes in the wall. I thought ... it might be awkward to have the pillow against the shelves, but it's definitely not. He (and we) love it!

Do account for the food-board height of 18 inch + bunky board ~ 1.5 inches if you will be using a memory foam mattress. Overall very satisfied with our purchase.

Permanent Bed For Sure
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.anonymous3 months agoWe looked everywhere for a bed frame, and have considered wide ranges of styles. I cannot express how satisfied I am with this item. First of all, there's no unnecessary hole intersecting the headboard and the frame. This would make it easy to clean once in awhile. Second of all, there are 4 spacious drawers which allows us to store different types of blankets for all seasons. Third of all, it's very sturdy. It's a stable bed. In terms of the style, it's inbetween modern and rustic. ... Headboard makes the entire bed modern, the drawers' knobs make the bed look rustic. Honestly, I did not like that there were so many knobs and this held me back from buying it in the beginning. However, because of the three things mentioned above, I had to give it a try. And honestly, I love that this looks unique and you would barely even look at the knobs on the side. They actually make this bed look expensive! From our budget, this is an expensive buy, but we went with it because we wanted a permanent one. I LOVE IT, IT'S THE BEST. I don't think we would ever buy a new bedframe! 5+ stars!

This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.KWTC20172 years agoWe got this bed as a wedding gift to furnish our new home. We absolutely love the wood, it is a beautiful color. We liked that the bed was more low profile, it fit well in our smaller master bedroom. The storage in the bed is fantastic, the drawers are so large and really fit quite a bit of stuff. The light tap on tap off feature on the headboard makes it very nice to read in bed. We love the look of this furniture in our bedroom.

The drawers are very deep for extra storage which is very nice for our small bed room. Also the color is tanish/grey so it blends with a lot so when we painted our room we had more options. I would recommend this bed to a friend.

We liked that you could turn on lights simply by running a hand over the metal studs in the headboard. It makes getting up in the middle of the night less of a hassle. The bed combined with the Brooke mirrored nightstands makes a huge statement in our bedroom!

We had just put in hardwood grayish floors that look at bit rustic, and painted the walls an ice blue with an accent wall of dark gray. The furniture looks great and is solid and well made. Love the extras (the cedar drawers, the lined drawers and the outlets built into the bed). The nightstand also has a charging station in the top lined drawer which is fabulous.

The delivery guys assembled the bed improperly and dealing with customer service was a nightmare. Fortunately, we walked into our local Living Spaces and found this bedroom set and loved the shopping experience, delivery and set up. The bed includes numerous outlets to charge and or plug in devices which is an added bonus next to the storage drawers.

It should be noted that a box springs IS NOT needed with this bed as long as your mattress is a traditional spring type and not memory foam. If you have memory foam there is a special matt that should be purchased. You can use a traditional box springs if you prefer, but it makes the bed extremely tall, over four feet, which for myself at 5'10 inches tall it was difficult for me to actually get into the bed. Overall well built strong piece of ... furniture, I would purchase again if given the chance.

Upon seeing the furniture in person we were taken by the great selection and quality of the offerings, and ended up purchasing three bedroom pieces and an additional living room table that we hadn't planned on - but it was so nice looking we could not pass it up. All the salespeople we worked with were great with no "sale pressure", and were very helpful in determining our final selections. the ... delivery crew was also top notch, very professional and respectful when loading in/setting up the new furniture. We purchased a white bedroom set from another supplier, but my client wasn't fond of the sleigh bed that was part of the collection (took up too much space and drawers were at the bottom which would block the beautiful bench I designed). Saw this and knew it was perfect! Headboard has a great Coastal look to it, sits flush against the wall and the 4 drawers (2 on each side) were perfect for the client's storage needs. Great ... quality, delivered quickly, set up perfectly and my client and I both love it. Would highly recommend!

We loved the storage option to keep our linens organized. I wish the slats had been built to accommodate a foam mattress to save us from spending more money. The frame is already so tall with storage option, it doesn't another 2 inches from a bunkie board. We love our new bed frame.

The bed is high so be aware of the height of your mattress. I would recommend not going over a 10 inch mattress or you will need a step stool to reach the bed! Very happy once we changed out the mattress.

Gorgeous, trendy grey bedroom set
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.BethPQ5 months agoWe spent months looking for a grey bedroom set for our master bedroom that didn't look cheap, and actually had handles on the drawers, etc. We were so pleased to find this lovely set! It goes beautifully with our new all-white bedding. We also like the height of having the mattress and box spring, although others may prefer to skip the box spring to get in/out of bed easier. The headboard reminds me of the rustic hardware look very in right now, and gives a very masculine feel to the bed.

The only thing I have to complain about is that the instructions were very difficult to read and not very detailed. Next time we will have someone come into our home and assemble.

Good, stylish, simple...
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Manu11 months agoWe purchased this bed in Cal-King size to replace our old storage bed which actually broke. Luckily for us, the color matched very closely, so we didn't need to replace the chest, mirror, media chest etc. It is a simple yet stylist bed and best of all, seem to be a much sturdier construction than our old bed (we still purchased the 5 year warranty, just in case). The slats are individually secured, still wish they would have legs supporting each slat rather than every third one as with Cal-King ... size, the slats gets bowed in the middle. We have a very heavy, Sleep Number Mattress, so we put some plywood over the slats to hopefully even out the weight distribution. The only complaint...The storage drawers are too small. They could have easily made them 3-4 in. bigger.

The backboard is at a nice angle to prop up a pillow behind the bank and recline. I like the ledge that goes around the bed and how unique this bed looks. The only downfall is we keep stubbing our toes when we walk up to the bed because the wood goes all the way to the floor instead of being open underneath like a lot of other beds. Still doesn't mean we wouldn't buy it again!

We finally have a bedroom that is relaxing, stylish, and a place we love to hang out in! We debated on whether we buy the media console or the dresser, but finally decided to get the media console. It's perfect! Another fantastic feature is the nightstands all have power outlets installed inside the top drawer. Unbelievable how this simple little feature completely hides clutter. I love it!

LOVING The New Bed

We browsed several times but always came back to the Livingston collection. It's rustic, low maintenance and beautiful to look at. The bed is everything we wanted, functional (the drawers), comfortable and spacious. The only negative would be the "skirt" around the platform. It can be awkward to get into until you get used to it, but it would not keep me from buying ... it again. LOVE IT!!
