Perfect fit!

I was a little concerned once I purchased the table and re-measured the intended area for placement but the table fits perfectly. My small family (2 kids and grandma) can fit and eat comfortably. Assembly wasn't as bad as I anticipated from reading the reviews. I did use a drill for some of the screws but I didn't have the proper bits for some sizes and the assembly was still rather simple.

The table itself is the perfect height for us and the chairs are very comfortable to sit in. Installation was pretty straightforward and took about 2 hours to build. The price was amazing for a five piece set. Get it while you can!

It fits great and love the height of the chairs as it is not too tall or short and love the color. Great for entertaining and do some work on there if you don't feel like sitting at your desk. I highly recommend to family of 4 or a single person myself to get this dining set at an excellent affordable price.

Wonderful Counter Chairs

We searched on Amazon and almost every furniture store in our area. After checking out Living Spaces and seeing these Counter height stools we knew they would fit the home perfectly and at such a great price! They didn’t have the exact chair in the showroom but they had regular chairs (same cushion). We bought 4 of them and had to exchange 1 because there was a rip in the cushion fabric. No issues with exchanging it ... whatsoever. These were a wonderful addition to our new home.

By chance, I found this elegant, yet super comfortable counter chair to be my perfect fit! Love it
This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Lalaluna3 years agoLove the style of this table and chairs. The cushions on the chair are pretty firm at first, but break in relatively quickly. One of the chairs had a leg that seems very slightly shorter than the others, which would make it wobble if we weren't using it on carpet. We have a couple of cats and they don't seem interested in clawing the cushions like they would if the cushions were made of fabric. The table seems to get scratched pretty easy. We had it for less than a week before noticing a couple ... of scratches. Overall I am happy with the purchase and would recommend this set.

Living spaces had the best price for a dining set which would accommodate 6 people. Also it is good to have it picked up the same day.

This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.gilbertmama3 years agothis set is a great value and looks better than pictured. as other reviewers may have noted, the top will scratch easily. we cover it with a table cloth to protect it from the kids. bought this set because we knew the kids would destroy it, happy to find something that looks more expensive than it was but won't make me blow a gasket if something happens to it because i didn't break the bank on it. assembly was simple, directions were clear. chairs are comfy. the wood is more dark brown than ... black, with more of a wood look than you would think.

great for kids
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.gilbertmama3 years agomy 3 yo loves the bench, it is easier for him to get in and out of than a regular chair, giving him that independence a big boy craves. assembly was pretty easy, although, there are a few screws included, and there are no pre-drilled pilot holes for them, so be careful! overall, product was well priced, looks beautiful and is sturdy enough for the abuse we throw at it.

A high back chair make obstruct the view or break up the room. Use the bench to keep the openness of a room. Using a bench in a tighter/smaller area makes the room less crowded. This bench is a great option!

I actually have a different table (not part of the set) from Living Spaces. Doing it this way saved me on chairs from the other set. I'm so happy, now I can push the table against the wall when I do not need to use the bench.

However, there is a minor defect, which the surface of the table at one area feels stuck out a little bit. The assembly is simple enough. Have been using it for about 2 weeks now and it function as expected.

It has a dark finish to coordinate with my other furniture. I paired the table with 4 Alexa chairs in black to achieve a new retro feel. I believe it can seat 6 for entertaining friends and family. Easy to clean. The wide base gives stability. A good value for the price.

Very sturdy chairs. Assembles in 10 minutes with power tools.
This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.VanCleave3 years agoOne reason we bought this set was that we are big people and need sturdy chairs. I had to assemble 6 side chairs. I set up an assembly table and used my power drill with a hex-bit and Phillips bit to install the two types of screws. I was able to assemble the chairs in 10 minutes each after I got it figured out for the first chair. If you do it by hand with the allen wrench provided and a screwdriver it will probably take 20-30 minutes each. The instructions are just pictures...no written ... instructions...but not too hard to figure out.

We have different variations in wood colors in our house so they look great, are comfortable and seem well made for the price. They do need pads on the bottom of the chair legs. There were a few of the chairs that were missing the cap on the bottom of the leg but I put the pads on and it's fine.

Took a little more time and patience but all came together very well. The tools that were provided were what caused the chairs to be a little harder to put together. Once I used my own tools the chairs were a piece of cake to put together. The fit and finish were excellant for the price paid.

This reviewer rated product 4 out of 5 stars.Rocky214 years agoThe Bardstown chair is one elegant looking chair. It is very sturdy and has a very good back support. As far as assembly is concern, the instruction and drawing that came with it was not so clear, so you will need some common sense to figure it out. You need to navigate the corners and this is not a job for people with big hands. You will need someone with smaller hands to help you and after the first chair the rest would be easy.

I didn't want to replace the entire set since nothing is wrong with the table. I purchased these chairs online based upon other reviews and the price. I had them delivered and they came pre-assembled. I have never purchased furniture online before but because the price was right and reviews were good I took a chance. I am very happy I did! These chairs are sturdy, comfortable, and look good ... with my older table. The delivery service was spot on. Called me ahead of time to tell me time of arrival, was very polite and made sure to place the chairs for me in my dining room and confirmed I was satisfied. Overall a great experience!

I'm not sure if the table is made out of real wood, but it feel and looks great. Worth every penny. Thank you Living Spaces for a wonderful dinning table.

I ordered it online (never saw it in person) - and I must admit, I felt nervous that the wood grain would look cheap in person and that I may have made an impulsive purchase. Upon assembly, I was SO pleased with everything about it. The chairs even come with those little pads that prevent from scratching the floor! It is an affordable way to get a modern look in your home. I love it.

The sofa and love seat feel really comfortable also as a recliner seats are wonderful. I can Relax comfortably best sofa and love seats I have ever sat on and love the leather feel . The table and chairs are also great you also have the option to make the table longer for more space for your guest or even shorter to have space for the dining room. The chairs are very comfortable able to seat for a long period of time and ... still comfortable as like the very first time. Living Spaces is a great place to get your latest and updated furniture.

It is a high quality chair with a great flexsteel support, so the chair is firm without being too hard. It is just the right size for my small living room and looks a lot like much more expense chairs sold in other stores. I also love the brown heather color, it compliments my sand colored sectional sofa perfectly. I highly recommend this chair!

Wonderful Table

We have dinner parties so wanted a smaller table with a leaf for those occasions. After looking and looking, this little beauty caught my eye. It's a lovely rich deep brown with lighter shades of brown here and there. The table is sturdy and the woodgrain is gorgeous. It looks great in a contemporary setting as well as a more traditional room. This charming table seats 6 nicely with the leaf and 8 ... very comfortably. We even sat 10 on one occasion and it worked well. This table was an incredible find.

This table was half the cost and designed and colored best to match our existing chairs. Great size as well. Easy to add the extension and very solid. We love it.

I would pay $850 for the piece normally but luckily I had found mine in the clearance center for almost nothing! I won't tell you how much I got it for so I won't make you jealous but I would recommend this piece to anyone!

The only thing I’d mention is that the doors are pretty hard to open, I guess the magnet holding them is too strong when it’s new.

We didn't like the chairs it came with so we only purchased the table and it's beautiful as described. I actually spent most of my dining table time trying to justify the west elm arch round table price that looks pretty similar and couldn't make the case for spending crazy WE money. Living spaces rocked and we are so happy this was very similar and a great price!

Nice Dining Set

I ordered it online Sunday night and opted to pay the $99.00 dollars for set up and delivery and it was delivered on Monday evening. I could not be more pleased with my purchase. My husband even liked it. Paying for the delivery and set up was well worth the money and the delivery people were great. I will be going back for a new a rear rug to match. Great deal!!!!!!

Once it arrived and they set it up, I couldn't believe how sturdy and thick the table actually is. No one would ever know it was soooooo reasonably priced. It is definitely the best table I ever purchased, and looks like it was at least a $500 table. The grain on the top is both cherry and dark walnut look, so it matches so many different chairs and benches, etc. The table is also ... much bigger than I had imagined. And looks much better when you get it in your own home.

You have the flexibility to make it a small rectangle, 36"x54", or a large square, 54"x54" (which is great for entertaining). The table is built solid and feels strong yet not too heavy to move. The color is rich and the darker trim that barely outlines the tables gives it "burnt-like" touch. Absolutely stunning.

Great for dining, playing group board games and sharing conversations around the table. It's perfectly square and seats two per side for a total of eight. It's design promotes communication involving all the people rather than have several conversations going at both ends and the middle. It's so convenient for group games, as everyone can reach the center for drawing cards or playing on a board. The chairs are exceptionally ... comfortable. We've sat all evening without getting stiff and sore. Good workmanship and elegant style too.

Their rich colors are very attractive and really complimented our dining area, so much that we went and purchased 2 more counter stools to enhance our dining environment. Love them.

So we went to Living Spaces to search for a stronger sturdier chair. These Lancaster, as my gf called "Lannister", chair are perfect! Very easy to assemble and very comfy. They are very sturdy and solid. Also, very comfy to sit in. We couldn't have asked for better chairs that went perfectly with our high table. We're thankful. We had great and friendly service from the floor salesman as well.

This reviewer rated product 5 out of 5 stars.Lecey12 months agoWe absolutely love this table - it's high enough to double as an island when we need more space to cook, the size is great to have a dinner party, and the storage space is perfect or an apartment that doesn't have a ton of extra cabinet space. We are so happy with this table and really like the color/pattern of it as well. It was somewhat of a blind purchase because there weren't many reviews, but we couldn't be happier with it.

Went window shopping. I cut out my pictures in a book and started on my path to my dream home; eventually my retirement home. I am so in love with this two pieces. The end results were amazing.
